The last date for registration has passed.

This event will  be held at the Everglades University in Sarasota.

While the intent of the College of Commissioner Science is to provide training for currently registered unit commissioners and to enhance their experience as such, the College is open to any registered Scouter who has a thirst for knowledge and who may be interested in exploring the possibility of becoming a commissioner.

We welcome those seeking degrees as well those simply interested in becoming more knowledgeable about other aspects of the scouting program.

As the name implies, the College provides the means for participants to seek and earn degrees. For those inclined to do so.

Basic prerequisites for all degree-seeking candidates:

• be registered as a commissioner

• have current Youth Protection certification

• complete Commissioner Orientation, if new to Commissioner Service.

• complete Commissioner Basic Training

$17.00 per Participant.  All payments are due May 9, 2019.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Once registration fees have been paid, an individual may become ill or otherwise be unable to attend an event. Since the event has already incurred expenses related to the activity such as program supplies, food, patches, etc., event fees are non-refundable & non-transferable. An exception will be made if a request is received in writing or email (not phone) and submitted to the Southwest Florida Council Office by the individual no less than 72 hrs. before the date of the event. In some cases, only a partial refund can be made. Refunds for inclement weather will be made only if the event is cancelled. No refunds are given for credit card processing fees.
