Manages lodge member information, maintains Lodgemaster, and handles check-in at all events.
Responsibilities
  • Distribute membership cards to dues-paid members
  • Maintain and update lodge membership database
  • Process transfer forms and issue cards to new members
  • Send yearly dues bills to members
  • Distribute chapter membership and Brotherhood eligible lists
  • Check in members and manage registration at all lodge events
The link between the lodge and individual troops — spreads event info and maintains strong communications with OA Troop Reps.
Responsibilities
  • Compile and update OA Troop Representative contact information
  • Establish strong communications with each OA Troop Rep
  • Act as liaison between individuals and the lodge
  • Assist in the unit election process
Visits troops and conducts elections October–November. Coordinates the entire election process from training through final candidate lists.

  • Hold lodge unit elections training before election period
  • Create and distribute chapter election packets
  • Collect, tally, and submit unit election forms
  • Coordinate with troop representatives
  • Ensure all elections completed by close date
Plans and runs lodge activities including non-service events at fellowship weekends and the annual lodge banquet.

Promotes camping, high adventure, and year-round outdoor programs to units. Creates and distributes the Where to Go Camping guide.

Organizes all lodge service projects at camp, coordinates with rangers, and maintains a yearly log of service hours.

Recruits and trains ceremonial teams. Perfect for those interested in Native American dress and the solemn ceremonies of the Order.
