AQUATICS SUPERVISOR TRAININGS
Camp Miles

The Aquatics Supervisor courses consist of two separate classes as follows:

Swimming and Water Rescue - which expands on the online Safe Swim Defense Class
Paddle Craft Safety - which expands on the online Safety Afloat Course

The BSA Swim Test is a prerequisite swim for both courses.

Swimming and Water Rescue is offered on Saturday from 8:00 - 5:00.  It is highly recommended for all swimming activities
Paddle Craft Safety will also be offered on Saturday following the Swimming and Water Rescue course and is highly recommended for all watercraft classes in addition to CPR

Every Pack, Troop and Crew should have at least one person in their unit with this training.  
Recommended for Unit Leaders and Scouts at least 15 years of age for swimming in areas with no lifeguards or on paddling excursions.

Cost: $25 per single course or $50 for the combined course.  Includes all course materials.  Payment is due at the time of registration.

BSA Health Medical Record Parts A & B also required.

Cancellation Policy
Event Cancellation Policy: Once registration fees have been paid, an individual may become ill or otherwise be unable to attend an event. As the event has already incurred expenses related to the activity such as program supplies, insurance, food, patches, etc., event fees are non-refundable & non-transferable. You may request a refund by submitting it in writing to the Southwest Florida Council Office by the individual no less than 72 hours before the date of the event. In most cases, only a partial refund can be made. Refunds for inclement weather will be made only if the event is cancelled. No refunds will be given on the Event Processing Fee.
