Camp Flying Eagle

Camp Flying Eagle Hurricane Recovery Work Day

The Southwest Florida Council will sponsor a Hurricane Recovery Work Day at Camp Flying Eagle on Saturday, November 12th, 2022 from 9 am to 4 pm.  The primary focus of this day is general clean-up (brush removal, debris removal).  Lunch will be provided.

All participants should bring the following items: 

  • Work Gloves
  • Water Bottle
  • Sunscreen
  • Insect Repellent

This will be a crucial workday to assist the Council in preparing the camp for Winterfest.  Please RSVP using the link below.  This information will be used to make sure we have enough food purchased to provide lunch. 

If your unit has access to a flatbed trailer and a vehicle to tow it please bring it.  If a member of your unit is a licensed contractor (Carpenter, Electrician, Plumber, Tree Service) and is interested in donating services to the camp to help us with our recovery, please contact Todd Greene (todd@tnrgreene.com) directly.

Cancellation Policy
Event Cancellation Policy: Once registration fees have been paid, an individual may become ill or otherwise be unable to attend an event. As the event has already incurred expenses related to the activity such as program supplies, ins., food, patches, etc., event fees are non-refundable & non-transferable. An exception will be made ONLY if a request is received in writing or email (not phone) and submitted to the Southwest Florida Council Office by the individual no less than 72 hours before the date of the event. In most cases, only a partial refund can be made. Refunds for inclement weather will be made only if the event is cancelled. No refunds will be given on the Event Processing Fee.
