This event will  be held at the Faith Lutheran Church in Punta Gorda.  

This event is for all Commissioner Staff and Unit Commissioners and anyone interested in commissioner service.  This year's conference will include a presentation by Debi Ryan on The New Online Rechartering Process.

Check in will begin at 8:00 am.

The intent of the Commissioner Conference is to update currently registered unit commissioners and to offer extended training opportunities. The College of Commissioner Science courses being offered is open to any registered Scouter who has a thirst for knowledge and who may be interested in exploring the possibility of becoming a commissioner. Please note that the official College of Commissioner Science will be held on May 7, 2022.

We welcome those seeking degrees as well those simply interested in becoming more knowledgeable about other aspects of the Scouting program.

IMPORTANT:  Due to  the reduced number of classes, Commissioner Science degrees may only be earned by individuals that had previously started a specific degree but had not completed it.

Basic prerequisites for all degree-seeking candidates:

• be registered as a commissioner

• have current Youth Protection certification

• complete Commissioner Orientation, if new to Commissioner Service.

• complete Commissioner Basic Training

$10.00 per Participant.  All payments are due Oct 7, 2021.  Registration and payment are on-line only.
On-site registration is $15 and does not guarantee lunch.

Cancellation Policy
Once registration fees have been paid, an individual may become ill or otherwise be unable to attend an event. As the event has already incurred expenses related to the activity such as program supplies, ins., food, patches, etc., event fees are non-refundable & non-transferable. An exception will be made ONLY if a request is received in writing or email (not phone) and submitted to the Southwest Florida Council Office by the individual no less than 72 hours before the date of the event. In most cases, only a partial refund can be made. Refunds for inclement weather will be made only if the event is cancelled. No refunds will be given on the Event Processing Fee.
