Winter Camp at Price-Sanders Scout Reservation

Five days, four nights of Scouting adventure this December — and this year, Winter Camp has been completely revamped with new programs, new activities, and returning camp traditions.

More announcements are coming as we get closer to December — here's what's confirmed so far.

Evening Programs

Returning: the Closing Campfire is back — the whole camp together around the fire before troops head home.

New: Troop vs. Troop Night joins the evening lineup this year.

Renegade Program

A three-day high-adventure track — deep sea fishing, horsemanship, and a shooting sports & High COPE day. $350.

New

Complete Angler Award

Scouts spend the first three periods of the day earning Fishing, Fly Fishing, and Fish & Wildlife Management, plus the Complete Angler Award.

The Renegade Program — $350 (Includes base camp Fee)

Our biggest highlight of the year. Renegade campers leave the standard schedule behind for a three-day route built around high-adventure skills you won't find anywhere else at camp.

Day One

Deep Sea Fishing

Out on the water for a full day of deep sea fishing.
Day Two

Horsemanship

A full day in the saddle, working directly with horses from the ground up.
Day Three — AM

Shooting Sports Round Robin

Atlatl, knife throwing, and black powder — rotating through three traditional shooting disciplines.
Day Three — PM

High COPE

Closing out the Renegade route with the challenge course.

Complete Angler Award — New for 2026

A new morning program taking up the first three periods of the day. Scouts will work toward the Fishing, Fly Fishing, and Fish & Wildlife Management merit badges, along with the Complete Angler Award.

Winter Camp registration

Registration Fee

Scouts BSA can attend with their Troop or as individuals — the Provo Troop is back this year for Scouts registering without a home troop. A $50 non-refundable deposit per camper is due at online registration.

Renegade Program (Includes base camp fee) $350

Registration opens September 15, 2026 and closes 11/30/26 — all payments due by 11/30/26. Payments made after 11/30/26 are subject to a $25/person late fee.

Staff Application

Camp Staff Opportunities

Interested in being a camp staff team member? All staff members must be 15 years of age or older. Attendance at both training weekends is mandatory for anyone who wishes to serve on camp staff.

November 20 – 22, 2026

December 18 – 20, 2026
