For all too long we have ignored Sea Scouting on these pages. Our Council now has several Sea Scout Ships and this coming year marks the 100th anniversary of Sea Scouting. To find out more about Sea Scouting in your area, contact your District Executive.

New Website Planned for Sea Scouts’ 100th Year
The National Sea Scout Committee has directed the development and unveiling of a new official website for the U.S. Sea Scout community. The new website will utilize the latest in online technology to deliver useful and timely information to Sea Scouts, leaders, parents, local council professionals, and the general public.
The beta version of the new site was introduced in November and can be accessed at www.newseascout.org. Both the existing and new beta sites will be maintained concurrently until the beta testing is complete.
Latest Edition of the Sea Scout Manual is Available Now!
The latest edition of the Sea Scout Manual is now available! The National Sea Scout Committee endeavors to bring you the best materials to support your Sea Scout programs and advancement. This is the first electronic release of the Sea Scout Manual. Future updates will include errata sheets and a guide detailing which pages have changed and should be replaced. Check back often for changes and new details.
