Mid-Iowa Council relies on the invaluable volunteer activities of ORFs (Old Retired Fellas) and the Volunteer Corps to accomplish a myriad of tasks; from cutting wood for Cub Scout activity kits to maintaining Camp Mitigwa grounds and buildings, to stuffing envelopes and answering telephones - hundreds of volunteers provide Scouting opportunities for thousands of Iowa youth.
