Who would like to go backpack in the Sangre de Christo range of the Rocky Mountains in New Mexico?  Spend 10 days hiking in the Rocky Mountains of New Mexico. Visit back country camps that offer rock climbing, burro racing, fly fishing, black powder rifle shooting, tomahawk throwing, an Indian sweat lodge, fur trapping, gold panning, search and rescue training, climb Mount Baldy and Mount Philips, and much more. Be prepared to work hard and have the adventure of a lifetime!

$2,600 per person all inclusive

Price is all inclusive of transportation, meals, admission fees, etc. Scouts will provide their own gear and spending money. Includes several days of side trips to: Garden of the Gods, Koshare Kiva, Pikes Peak, and Cave of the Winds.

$300 Deposit - due at time of registration
$575 Payment – due Oct.1, 2014
$575 Payment - due January 28, 2015
$575 Payment due – March 28, 2015
Balance Due - June 1, 2015
 

Requirements:
All Participants must meet the BSA Body Mass Index (BMI) guidlelines as stated on the BSA medical form. There are no exceptions.Youth participants must be 14 years of age OR completed 8th Grade and beat least 13 years of age prior to participation. Please do not request or expect exceptions. Requirements for Philmont participation cannot be relaxed. Adults must be registered leaders, SM/ASM & Youth Protection Trained, and in excellent physical shape.

Scouts that register for the waiting list, and who don't attend this year, will be "first-in-line" for the Philmont Trek in 2016.
