LEVEL 2 COPE INSTRUCTOR TRAINING

This training is for currently certified Level 1 Instructors in the Gulf Stream, South Florida, and Southwest Florida Councils.
You will need the date of your Level 1 certification in order to register.  It should be available in your training records on my.scouting.org.

A Level 2 COPE Instructor is an Instructor over the age of 21 who has taken a course from a COPE Program Manager or COPE Program Trainer to be able to be the Primary Instructor of COPE events, depending on their training on that particular facility.  Unlike a National Camping School COPE Director card, this certification is site specific.

Registration is limited to the first 20 participants
Registration closes on September 23rd.  Payments must be received by September 23rd or a $25 per person late fee will fee assessed.

Must attend and participate fully in all sessions
Must be 21 years of age or older
Must be a currently certified Level 1 COPE Instructor prior to the start of this course
Must provide a complete BSA Health & Medical Record (Parts A & B)

Fee includes program supplies, meals, and one Level 2 Instructor shirt
Extra shirts may be purchased in advance for $12 each

Cancellation Policy
Event Cancellation Policy: Once registration fees have been paid, an individual may become ill or otherwise be unable to attend an event. As the event has already incurred expenses related to the activity such as program supplies, ins., food, patches, etc., event fees are non-refundable & non-transferable. An exception will be made ONLY if a request is received in writing or email (not phone) and submitted to the Southwest Florida Council Office by the individual no less than 72 hours before the date of the event. In most cases, only a partial refund can be made. Refunds for inclement weather will be made only if the event is cancelled. No refunds will be given on the Event Processing Fee.
