C.O.P.E. (Challenging Outdoor Personal Experience) is a national program of the Boy Scouts of America. The program is composed of group initiative games, trust events, low course events and high course events. Some activities involve a group challenge, while other develop individual skills and agility. Participants, clumb, swing, balance, jump, rappel and devise solutions to a variety of problems. C.O.P.E. Insturctors are required to perform physically demanding tasks on occasion. Being in relative good shape is a requirement.
In order to complete this trainng, you MUST attend both weekends. C.O.P.E. Instructors must be at least 16 years old, while Jr. C.O.P.E. Instructors must be at least 16 years old.
