Details:

This weekend is the first of two weekends (8/3-5 AND 8/17-19) required for taking the BSA/ARC Lifeguard Certification course.  We will also offer both Aquatics Supervisor course on this weekend only.

The Lifeguard certification course takes your aquatics training to the next level to prepare you for a more professional level of training.  You must attend both weekends to complete this training.  You must be 15 or older to take this training.  This course is not required to open the aquatics facilities at the camps, but it is encouraged.  The recertification course will be held on the Saturday of the SECOND weekend (8/18).

Aquatics Supervisor training for Swim & Water Rescue (SWR) will be offered on Saturday, August 4 and Aquatics Supervisor for Paddle Craft Safety (PCS) will be offered on Sunday, August 5.  You must be 16 or older to take this training.

Location:  Camp Miles, Pool Training Room. 
                  Bring your camping gear

Registration closes July 23 and ALL fees are due by July 27.

Online Registration:    When registrering online make sure that you click on the "Make Payment/Save" button at the bottom of the payment page; whether you choose to pay online or by check.  You will receive an IMMEDIATE confirmation of registration/payment.  This lets you know that you are officially registered.

Cancellation Policy: Once registration fees have been paid, an individual may become ill or otherwise be unable to attend an event. Since the event has already incurred expenses related to the activity such as program supplies, food, patches, etc., event fees are non-refundable & non-transferrable.  An exception will be made if a request is received in writing or email (not phone) and submitted to the Southwest Florida Council Office by the individual no less than 24 hrs. before the date of the event.  In some cases, only a partial refund can be made. Refunds for inclement weather will be made only if the event is cancelled.
