BEST PRACTICE: Payment Reminders for 2016 Events and Facilities
As 2015 draws to a close, many of our clients are getting ready to configure a full slate of events, camps, classes and facilities for 2016. As you're preparing to set up online registration, remember to set up automatic payment reminders with custom messages for everything you configure in Event Management.
To help you and your staff focus on program delivery instead of following up on missing payments, you can set automatic payment reminders for anything configured in Event Management (including Calendar Activity events, programs and facility reservations).
Payment reminders let you automatically send custom reminders on the schedule of your choice to people who have upcoming payments or late payments due for an event or reservation. If the event has a payment schedule, the reminders are sent relative to the next payment due date. If the event doesn’t have a payment schedule, reminders are sent relative to the event or reservation start date.
You can set the following options for payment reminder notifications:
- The number of days before the next payment due date, the event date or the reservation start date that a notification will be sent
- The number of days after the next payment due date, event date or reservation start date that a notification will be sent
- How frequently the notification will be sent (for example, every three days)
- A custom message for notifications sent before a payment is due
- A custom message for notifications sent after a payment is due
