Authorize.net Improvements
If your organization uses the Authorize.net gateway, you may have received an email that details changes to their system. These changes are to decrease latency, increase reliability and reduce the number of service outages. To take advantage of the changes, Authorize.net recommends that merchants use one of their new URLs for transaction processing.
If your organization uses Authorize.net, Doubleknot will make these configuration changes on your behalf. No action is required on your part.
Gift Card Processing with Mercury
Did you know that your organization can issue and process gift cards if you use Mercury as your payment processor? Gift cards provide a new revenue source and make it easy for constituents to share their appreciation of your organization. And, you can use gift cards to reward and incentivize your constituents—for example, the GSUSA Cookie Dough program provides gift cards to scouts based on individual cookie sales. Mercury gift cards can be used for online or offline purchases, and all gift card transactions are processed free of charge.
In addition to gift cards, Mercury offers several benefits for Doubleknot clients, including no monthly service fees and the possibility of significant savings on transaction fees compared to other merchant services providers.
