Did you know that there are different rules for acknowledging donations depending on the amount? Generally, your donation receipts should include the name of your organization; your tax ID number; the amount of the donation; and whether any goods or services were received in return.
In Doubleknot, you can include this information on the receipt. When you create or edit a Fund Raiser event, enter the information in the Receipt Confirmation Message field. If you need additonal help, contact us at

ENHANCEMENT: Move Registration Tool is Now Located in Utilities
The Move Registration tool enables administrators to move an event or program registration to another event or program. This tool is now located in the Utilities tab within Event Management.
NOTE: When you move registrations from one program to another, the session events (classes and activities) for the registrations are not transferred. After moving a program registration, administrators should update the class and activity registrations for each participant.
REMINDER: Increase Donations by Asking At Checkout!
It’s a basic tenet of fundraising that you’ll get more donations if you ask for them! But, for many organizations, the web site is the primary point of contact with their constituents, and it’s easy for visitors to ignore a Donate Now button, even if it appears on every page.
Doubleknot helps organizations increase donation rates with customized checkout donation requests. A checkout donation request places a donation request exactly where you want it—at the beginning of the checkout process, when your visitors have already decided to make a purchase at your site.
With a checkout donation request, every customer purchase—whether it’s for admission tickets, event or program registration, or merchandise—becomes an opportunity to raise awareness about your mission and ask for additional donations to support your cause.
