Scouting’s flagship event is a one of a kind lifetime Scouting experience. It’s a gathering of approximately 35,000 scouts, leaders, and staff showcasing everything great about the B.S.A. and its members.  Over the course of 10 summer days, the Boy Scouts of America comes together. The result is the National Scout Jamboree.

 

Where: The Summit is the new home of achievement, adventure, and innovation in Scouting.  Located in West Virginia, it will feature world-class facilities and a focus on outdoor action sports, The Summit will welcome Scouts to a whole new Jamboree experience the summer of 2017.

 

When:  The Jamboree- July 17-29, 2017

Registration:  First Come –First Serve – Only 36 SWFL Slots Available!

Who:    Scouts -Some of the requirements include:

              •   Must have a current BSA membership with a Boy Scout troop.

              •   Must be at least First Class Scout by July 1, 2017.

              •   Must be at least 12 years of age by July 1, 2017 or Have completed the 6th grade and have not reached their 18th birthday by the last day of the jamboree.

·        Meet health and medical standards.
