WILDERNESS / REMOTE FIRST AID & CPR
Camp Miles

Wilderness and Remote First Aid and CPR is required for high adventure trips.  In order to take the First Aid portion of this class you must first have CPR.  CPR is being offered the night before if you need it.  This training is good for 2 years.  This training is open to BSA members ONLY. This is a 16 hour course and you must attend the full time frame.

Class size is limited to the first 20 participants so register early.    DOWNLOAD FLYER HERE!
Registration closes on March 22.

Fees for the course include books, program supplies and meals.  CPR - $40 
  Fees are due to the council by March 29.                                    Wilderness First Aid - $95
                                                                                                        Combined course - $135

Dates/Times:   CPR:       Friday, April 6 from 7 pm - 10 pm
                        Wilderness/Remote First Aid:     Saturday, April 7 from 8 am - 6 pm
                                                                            Sunday, April 8 from 8 am - 3 pm

Online Registration:  You do not have to pay online to register online!  Simply fill out the information online, click on either the Credit Card or Mailbox button and then click on the “Make Payment/Save” button at the SIDE of the payment page to lock in your registration.  You will receive an instant confirmation of your registration/payment.  When mailing in your check put the activity name and registration number on the memo line of your check.

Cancellation Policy: Once registration fees have been paid, an individual may become ill or otherwise be unable to attend an event. Since the event has already incurred expenses related to the activity such as program supplies, food, patches, etc., event fees are non-refundable & non-transferrable.  An exception will be made if a request is received in writing or email (not phone) and submitted to the Southwest Florida Council Office by the individual no less than 24 hrs. before the date of the event.  In some cases, only a partial refund can be made. Refunds for inclement weather will be made only if the event is cancelled.  NO refunds will be given on credit card processing fees.
