BRANDING 101
Camp Miles, Ranger Maintenance Yard

This event will teach individuals a theory on how to design and construct branding irons. Participants will also learn various methods on how to use branding iron on camp cups, leather, fabric and wood. A general knowledge of welding and metalwork is preferable but not necessary. This is a hands on class and students will be putting their skills to use.

A materials/tool list will be sent to participants that want to create their own branding iron. All tools are provided.

This class is limited to 12 adults. Payment of $5 is due at time of registration.  Lunch is not provided, so please bring something to eat and a cup/bottle to drink from.

CANCELLATION POLICY:  Once registration fees have been paid, an individual may become ill or otherwise be unable to attend an event. Since the event has already incurred expenses related to the activity such as program supplies, food, patches, etc., event fees are non-refundable & non-transferrable.  An exception will be made if a request is received in writing or email (not phone) and submitted to the Southwest Florida Council Office by the individual no less than 72 hrs. before the date of the event.  In some cases, only a partial refund can be made. Refunds for inclement weather will be made only if the event is cancelled.
