The AS training for Swim & Water Rescue expands of the Safe Swim Defense course and allows you to open the council pool areas for unit use. The AS for Paddle Craft Safety expands on the Safety Afloat course and allows you to open the council waterfront areas for your unit. This training requires that you have CPR training which is a seperate course. Youth who attend must be at least 15 years old. You may chose to take either course or both. Certifications will be valid for three years.
Cost for the training is $45 for each course which includes all course materials and lunch.
The Aquatics Supervisor training for SWIM & WATER RESCUE takes place on Saturday, April 18.
The Aquatics Supervisor training for PADDLE CRAFT SAFETY takes place on Sunday, April 19.
This training will be held at Camp Miles.

You will receive an instant confirmation of your registration/payment. When mailing in your check put the activity name and registration number on the memo line of your check.
Cancellation Policy: Once registration fees have been paid, an individual may become ill or otherwise be unable to attend an event. Since the event has already incurred expenses related to the activity such as program supplies, food, patches, etc., event fees are non-refundable & non-transferrable. An exception will be made if a request is received in writing or email (not phone) and submitted to the Southwest Florida Council Office by the individual no less than 24 hrs. before the date of the event. In some cases, only a partial refund can be made. Refunds for inclement weather will be made only if the event is cancelled.
