Doubleknot Chooses Rackspace Hosting to Support Website and Web Applications for Hundreds of Non-Profit Organizations
SAN FRANCISCO – April 7, 2009 – Doubleknot Inc., a provider of software and services to non-profit organizations, today announced it has selected Rackspace® Hosting, (NYSE: RAX), the world’s leader and specialist in hosted IT services, to support Doubleknot’s website and web applications for hundreds of non-profit organizations.
Under the agreement, Rackspace is providing a Windows-based web, application, database and mail environment that runs on a Managed Hosting solution ,which includes 24x7x365 technology and service support.
Doubleknot supports over 1,200 non-profit organizations including the National Capital Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA), the San Francisco Zoological Society, the Philadelphia Zoo and the American Red Cross Mid-South Chapter, providing hosted applications for commerce, communications and content management. Doubleknot’s software-as-a-service (SaaS) technology includes tools for online funds collection, web content management, email marketing, newsletters, event registration, membership management and over a dozen other web-based applications.
